Mental disability

Our guides adapt their tours to meet the needs of all visitors, paying particular attention to the needs of people with mental disabilities.
There are no narrow passages in the cave apart from the funicular, and the lighting is fairly dim. The balcony is at a depth of 70m.
In addition, a FALC document is distributed as a supplement to the tour.

Motor disability

Motor disability

The Aven Armand site is accessible for people with reduced mobility. The car park has spaces for people with reduced mobility. The reception, shop, Speleo Café and toilets are accessible.
Unfortunately, due to the topography of the cave, the visit is not accessible to people with severe motor disabilities. The entrance to the funicular is via steps, and the tour involves descending some 200 irregular steps and climbing back up nearly a hundred.
We are currently working on developing an alternative, immersive above-ground experience.
