Schools Jules Verne Tour

Led by a professional guide, the Aven Armand cave tour is a unique opportunity to gain insight into the subterranean world. This tour covers some of the basics of geology (karstic relief, limestone formations, sinkholes, concretions, etc.) and the history of the development of modern potholing practices.

The tour features comments from the works of Jules Verne, in an amusing learning experience full of optical illusions (pareidolia) that stimulate the imagination.

As a cultural site, the Aven Armand is a partner of the Culture Pass network and is also registered in the database of ADAGE, an application that accompanies artistic and cultural education in schools and colleges.

The so-called collective component helps teachers to fund educational art and culture activities for their classes and school groups. This benefits students from the first year of high school to their final year of A levels.
